You can't rely on that many runs a night. They'll adjust and be ready to go (today).

He pitched well. It looked like he got away from his game plan a little bit but bounced right back. He showed confidence.

He's a pretty even-keel kid. He's going to be a guy who can stay away from the peaks and valleys. That's a big advantage in this game. His personality suits his position well.

Not only is he patient, but he has a great two-strike approach. We emphasize bearing down and focusing when you have two strikes; Seth does a tremendous job in that capacity.

This is just how it's materialized guys picking each other up. If somebody doesn't come through or get the hit, it seems like the next guy is picking him up. It's 25 guys collectively, and so far, we've been able to ham and egg that.

It's important the games are being played and the fans have an opportunity to come to the ballpark.

It's not so much quantity as it is quality. In our daily preparation, it's routine stuff. We emphasize fundamentals: We catch the ball and try to throw it straight. You try to find some type of comfort zone where if my practice habits are good, they carry over into the game.

It seems like he's getting a real good look at the baseball. We talk about that day in, day out. And if you talk to anybody that's run in to a pretty good streak going, they're saying that. He's squaring up a lot of baseballs right now.

You gotta be able to pitch inside to have effectiveness. Especially we've got some big guys that, (Tuesday) night, we swung the bats pretty well against them. They probably adjusted and said, 'We're going to pitch inside.' Everybody's got to do it.

We showed some guts all night. We kept them hanging around. We probably could have pitched a little better, but the guys played the full game, that's for sure.
